ESA技术中心ESTEC选择LMS Virtual.Lab Motion作为其进行多体动力学仿真首选的解决方案。ESA工程师将使用LMS Virtual.Lab Motion，快速创建运载火箭和卫星总成系统的虚拟样机，并准确模拟其在真实载荷条件下的动力学特性。LMS Virtual.Lab Motion可以快速找出潜在问题，迅速进行重复仿真，以评价不同设计方案的效果。它还可以系统地改进ESA空间系统的性能、安全性和可靠性，大大提高其整体质量。
ESA技术中心ESTEC在荷兰的机械部门，和欧洲承包商们，共同参与了大量空间系统的设计和开发，包括发射台架、卫星和起落装置。ESA技术中心ESTEC将选用LMS Virtual.Lab Motion，预测卫星进入轨道后依次动作的机构性能，如卫星分离、太阳能翻板的展开和受载仪器的安全承载保护。其它应用还包括地面发射台和无人驾驶飞行器着陆等。
