Dr. Schad, who currently manages his own technology and business strategy consultancy, was chairman, president and CEO of CoCreate Software, an $80 million engineering automation and data management company spun out of Hewlett Packard in 1996, and prior to that, a long-time senior executive with HP.

Dr. Schad served HP as general manager of the Software Business Unit where he was instrumental in building the HP Openview business into a market leader in network and systems management and was general manager of the Mechanical Design Division and Work Management Operation. Tilman has a PhD in electronic engineering from the Technische Universitaet Stuttgart, Germany.
