比利时政府提供数百万欧元合作资金支持来自空中客车380技术开发项目
比利时鲁文（2005年1月18日讯）LMS国际公司宣布，比利时联邦政府近期已经同意资助开发LMS Virtual.Lab的航空应用模块 -LMS Virtual.Lab的航空应用模块是一个飞行器和航空系统的专用虚拟仿真开发工具。LMS Virtual.Lab航空应用模块为飞行器的零部件和整体性能仿真提供了一体化的解决方案，并可挑战细节的开发，例如机身的一体化结构设计，起落装置的动态性能和缝翼系统（slat system）或机舱的振动噪声舒适性。合作资金来自比利时政府，是大型商业和技术开发项目的一部分。这一项目使比利时的高科技公司得到可观的加入开发空中客车A380的预先投资。比例时政府旨在通过类似这样的项目，支持比利时航空高技术工业的发展。
飞行器厂商面临着一系列挑战，包括系统和零部件设计要求更安全、更可靠、更容易操作、并受环境影响小。在空中客车A380项目中，飞机的尺寸极其复杂性、新的结构型式及材料使用的广泛性、开发周期的空前之短，都提高了工程挑战的难度。在要求如此严格的条件下，LMS从事开发专业的仿真工具，即LMS Virtual.Lab的航空应用模块，这使工程小组可以系统地对飞机的性能、结构的整体性，安全性，可靠性，舒适性进行分析设计。LMS Virtual.Lab可以帮助飞机设计师和工程人员们快速开发出多重设计方案，并且在样机提交生产和试验之前优化飞机的全面性能。
