LMS Test.Xpress具有实时测量的功能，这样用户可以在执行测量任务同时，进行FFT、阶次、倍频程分析；并可以在分析结果显示在屏幕同时，把采集的数据高速写入硬盘。用户可以在试验结束后，在现场立即检验测试结果，然后轻轻点一下鼠标自动生成精美的MS Office报告。LMS Test.Xpress与LMS Test.Lab完全兼容，能够对试验结果进行各种高级的后处理。
LMS Test.Xpress通过集成CAN-bus数据采集接口，使汽车试验工程师们在车辆试验时可以获得更多的测量参数，而无需增添额外的测量工具。CAN-bus接口的数据采集能够自动的和其它通道同步进行。这样，可以使用户测试与振动噪声数据相关的其他车辆参数，如刹车的ABS信号，或不同车零部件的压力和温度等，从而在试验运行过程中获得更多信息，更深入地了解试验结果。
