比利时，鲁汶– 2008年10月1日 – LMS国际公司近期宣布：新的LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim 8A版支持开放源Modelica编程语言标准。Modelica是一种面向对象、多领域建模语言，适于复杂系统面向零部件的建模，例如，包含机械、电子、液压、热、控制或电动子零部件的复杂系统。
在过去的三年里，LMS公司不断集成Modelica语言，来支持一维仿真软件LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim，用于多领域智能系统的建模和分析，并预测系统性能。在Modelica语言中，能直接利用数学方程对模型库中的部件进行建模，来描述系统性能。在LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim平台上创建系统仿真模型，用户可以充分利用各种特定工具包和应用库，这些应用库由来自不同物理领域的预先定义好的元件模型组成。
