比利时鲁文（2007年3月14日）讯：标志-雪铁龙集团正式采用LMS Virtual.Lab作为车身、底盘、发动机和整车开发的标准集成仿真平台。LMS Virtual.Lab将支持标志雪铁龙公司的工程师在整个汽车开发过程中，实现真实的虚拟仿真。此次订购包括五百多个LMS Virtual.Lab的长期使用许可，所购买的模块涵盖了多个关键性能属性，例如平顺性和操控性，结构完整性，系统动力学，NVH和声学，并且提供了多属性装配仿真平台。
汽车制造商需在最短时间内开发出更多的最优品质汽车模型，面对这一艰巨的挑战，标志雪铁龙公司曾在汽车开发的单个应用领域中对LMS Virtual.Lab的性能进行全面审慎的评估。通过一个阶段的使用，LMS Virtual.Lab已经充分证实了其在NVH工程项目，发动机声学仿真，以及耐久性和动力学分析中的载荷预测方面的优势。此外，使用者也对LMS Virtual.Lab的开放性给予高度评价，LMS Virtual.La不但能够与结构分析求解器集(如NASTRAN和ABAQUS)集成在一起，而且在碰撞和安全性分析领域还可以轻松地连接高级求解器。
通过此次合作协定的签署，标志雪铁龙将LMS Virtual.Lab纳入公司战略性发展项目的一个重要组成部分，在核心汽车设计流程中采用LMS Virtual.Lab，集成所有关键性汽车仿真任务。标志雪铁龙公司信息技术部副总裁，Jean-Luc Perrard表示“LMS Virtual.Lab与达索公司PLM和SIMULIA解决方案的无缝集成，使我们能够将属性仿真和汽车设计开发紧密结合在一起，集成性可以极大地提高子系统和车辆模型建模速度，并且能够在设计团队和工程团队之间建立良好的合作关系。”
Jean-Luc Perrard同时指出，利用装配仿真平台，LMS Virtual.Lab在不同的汽车属性所涉及的领域之间架起了一座独特的桥梁，这使得不同部门之间能够比较容易地共享部件模型。此外，还可以让开发团队快速地评价在关键性能方面的设计修改所带来的影响，例如舒适性、NVH或者可能发生的碰撞。
