Function description
As a sales engineer CAE products you will perform the prospection and qualification of CAE opportunities. High performance in these activities is essential in order to successfully close sales processes of LMS Imagine.Lab and LMS Virtual.Lab. These are products designed for multi-body simulation, durability, acoustics and optimization.
You will report to the department manager. You will work closely with the ALAVA account managers and with LMS International , responsible for the development and worldwide commercialization of those CAE tools.
The elected sales engineer will be responsible for the complete Spain and Portugal region. This will result in an average travelling time of at least 30% of your total working time.
Desired:
- Educational Level: The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and excellent academic credentials.
- Experience: Experience in CAD software (e.g. CATIA V5) and CAE software (e.g. structural FEA software – ABAQUS, ANSYS or NASTRAN is required.
- Specific technical competencies: Application-knowledge in optimization, multi-body simulation, durability and / or acoustics is an extra asset.
- Specific personal competencies: We are looking for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial person who is customer oriented. He or she is fluent in Spanish and English.
