Function description (roles / accountabilities):
Under this position the candidate will play a role in our Engineering Services group, she/he will realize consulting projects for our prestigious customers.
The candidate will apply its knowledge of various physical domains to solve, fix and optimize Mechanical, Fluid and Thermal systems. While a broad knowledge of these domains is required the candidate will apply it to the applications of her/his previous experience.
A typical project will involve the analysis of a complex system or sub-system through its analytical representation and simulation. The candidate will specify the necessary tests to be carried-out in order to further understand the system and validate the numerical models. Through the use of post-processing tools such as Design Optimization, Parametric Study, Linear Analysis, Order Tracking… the candidate will then fix issues and optimize the system.
Most of our projects will involve working closely with our customers and transferring the methodology developed throughout.
Desired:
- Educational Level: The ideal candidate has a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering and excellent academic credentials.
Experience:
- Has a minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering services company or support group of a larger corporation.
- Knowledgeable on certain Automotive and/or Off-highway and/or Aerospace applications.
Be capable of collaborating with the administrative, sales and technical resources.
Our clients require US citizens.
Specific technical competencies:
Has the knowledge of 1D System CAE software such as AMESim, Simulink, Easy5, FlowMaster… Any system level simulation software tool.
Complementary knowledge or understanding of CAD, CFD, FEA, Multi-Body software tools is a plus.
Specific personal competencies:
Good communication skills
Is capable of managing his time to produce the project in the required delay
