Mobile data acquisition for tough environments - Effectively testing the extremes
LMS is pleased to announce its dedicated mobile durability data acquisition solution – combining state-of-the-art mobile data acquisition hardware, the LMS SCADAS Durability Recorder, with the LMS SCADAS Smart Control, a Windows Mobile PDA solution for seamless real-time on-location data monitoring and validation.
These rough and rugged tools are designed to measure practically any load, everywhere, in full confidence with guaranteed on-the-spot results – be it on the road, on the proving ground, in a forest or on a construction site.
The LMS SCADAS Durability Recorder is specifically designed for truly rugged data acquisition in extreme conditions. Its sturdy and robust design can stand up to the most diverse external climate conditions from -20°C to +55°C and is tested for 60gpk shock and 7.7grms vibration (true MIL-STD-810F compliancy). It is available in a sealed version to resists dust and water according ingress protection code IP54.
Besides being rough-n-tough, the LMS SCADAS Durability Recorder is
strikingly independent - with its 100% autonomous operation and direct-to-CompactFlash card recording. Thanks to the embedded universal signal conditioning, a multitude of test set-ups are supported, resulting in less required equipment.
On-the-spot PC-less trackside data validation guarantees high quality data and eliminates needless test reruns. With the LMS SCADAS Smart Control, users can instantly validate recorded data quality during and after each measurement run right on site, so that there is no doubt about the acquired data accuracy and zero risk to the design cycle as a whole.
