LMS Virtual.Lab NVH Response Analysis

LMS Virtual.Lab NVH Response Analysis is an easy-to-use, entry-level simulation tool for predicting Noise and Vibration behavior of a component, subsystem or full system under operational loading conditions. With the transparent access to all available models and load data from CAE and Test, the user can access the “best available” data at all times. Fast modal and FRF based response prediction solvers quickly analyze a multitude of design variants. NVH specific post-processing tools help the engineering team in comparing actual response with pre-defined or imported targets and optimizing noise and vibration behavior.

LMS Virtual.Lab NVH Response Analysis offers maximum flexibility in retrieving and applying load cases. The loads can be in a multitude of formats and types, and may come from measurements, from multibody or acoustic simulations or generic loading sources. By combining measured loads with virtual models to perform an NVH response prediction, more realistic simulation results and reliable design insights are generated.

Engineers can easily set up NVH analysis runs with the template-based user interface, either starting from an FE model or using a test-based model. The solution also includes FRF and modal-based NVH response solvers to compute the system’s noise and vibration response. These techniques result in dramatically faster simulation runs, and enable users to assess many design options in a limited timeframe.

A wide variety of NVH specific post-processing tools help engineers in optimizing their design for noise and vibration and to compare it with actual responses using pre-defined or imported targets. Advanced post-processing options can be added to allow engineers to quickly investigate transfer paths and assess the noise and vibration contributions of individual system parts. LMS Virtual.Lab NVH Response Analysis supports the full spectrum of techniques to execute design modifications, from manually triggered modification analyses to fully automated design space
